Why not another all-in-one tool?

Most Etsy analytics tools bundle keywords, competitors, trends, profit, and ads into a single dashboard — each domain shallow. Brimley goes the opposite way: one domain — what Etsy sellers actually keep, after every fee, refund, and Offsite Ads attribution — explored to full depth.

Every fee ties back to the transaction that generated it. Every transaction ties back to the deposit that actually landed in the bank. That's how the gap between dashboard revenue and real payouts becomes explainable, not just visible.

From there, each layer compounds: which customers make the shop profitable, what Etsy-placed ads return over a buyer's lifetime, how the numbers compare to shops structured similarly. If a layer doesn't earn its weight in decisions a seller would actually make differently, it doesn't ship.

What you get from day one

Three capabilities. Nothing else competes for your attention.

The minimum product to prove two things: Brimley stays focused, and every number on the page can be verified in under ten seconds.

Profit for every listing, from day one on Etsy.

Not a 90-day window. Not a "Pro tier only" unlock. Brimley backfills your full Etsy history — two, three, five years, whatever you’ve been selling — and shows real profit per listing after every fee Etsy charges and every refund you’ve issued.

Every number traces back to a transaction.

Click any profit figure. See the orders behind it. Click any order. See every fee, coupon, refund, and shipping charge that built it, with a direct link to the original receipt on Etsy. If you don’t trust a calculation, you can verify it in under ten seconds.

Tax-ready export in one click.

Schedule C categories, fees broken out properly, refunds handled correctly. Hand it to your accountant or drop it into TurboTax. Reconciling before tax season shrinks from an afternoon to a few minutes.

Honest about what we don't know yet

Etsy's API doesn't expose ad spend to third-party tools. For now, you can upload a CSV from your Etsy Ads dashboard to include it in profit calculations, or run without it and see everything else. Full ads integration is one of the next layers on the roadmap.

Roadmap

What ships after launch?

At launch: profit analytics for every listing, reconciliation against bank deposits, and tax-ready export. That's the foundation.

~Q3 2027: margin-drop alerts and Offsite Ads attribution matching. ~Q1 2028: customer profitability — which buyers actually make the shop work. 2029: benchmarking against shops structured similarly.

Each layer under the same rule — if it doesn't earn its weight in decisions a seller would actually make differently, it doesn't ship.

Self-selection

Is this tool for you?

Two lists. No trick questions. If you're unsure after reading both, you're probably not in our ICP yet — and that's fine.

+
Yes, if you
  • Run an Etsy shop doing $1k+/month in revenue
  • Have 50+ active listings across one or more shops
  • Already use eRank, EverBee, or similar for SEO and product research — and want a focused tool for the profit side
  • Have felt the gap between what Etsy Stats shows and what your bank account says
  • Want to understand your numbers, not just glance at a dashboard
Probably not, if you
  • Are brand new to Etsy and still validating product-market fit (you need product research tools first)
  • Sell handmade with complex bill-of-materials that changes weekly (Craftybase serves that better)
  • Need multi-channel inventory sync across Shopify, Amazon, or Etsy (different product)
  • Want an AI tool that tells you what to sell (we don’t do product research or trend prediction)

Who built this

Evgeniy Averin
Frontend developer at EasyStaff

I'm building Brimley as a solo founder. After enough time reading forum threads about the gap between Etsy's dashboard and the actual bank deposit, I decided the whole product should revolve around reconciling those two numbers — not chasing trend charts.
